Amboise

This is our trip to Amboise. Amboise is where Leonardo da Vinci lived out the last part of his life and where he is now buried. This city was about 1.5 hours from Angers... and about 1/2 hour/20 minutes from Blois.

As we walked from the train station, we were greeted with a very picturesque city!

 

These houses were built right into the cliff!! How cool is that?!

Visitng the castles was very expensive. The big castle is where Leonardo is buried and the small castle is where he lived and where they have built many of his inventions that you can interact with. Out of the two we decided to visit his old house.

This is a hotel/restaurant where the workers dress up like it is still... whatever year Leonardo live there... It was kind of weird.
